Jerome G. Geraghty, Co-Managing Director

Jerry was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 13, 1950, and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1976. Jerry earned his B.A. in Economics and M.B.A. (Finance) from Loyola College in 1972 and 1975, respectively. He graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1976, and subsequently obtained an L.L.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University in 1981. Jerry is an Order of the Coif Member, as well as a Member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, Maryland State and the American Bar Associations (Member, Section of Taxation).

Jerry has worked at Blades & Rosenfeld, P.A. since he graduated from law school in 1976 and he serves as co-managing director of the firm. Jerry's practice involves business planning and transactions, tax and estate planning for a wide variety of clients. Jerry's primary clients are owners and executives of business entities and tax-exempt organizations. A sample of Jerry's clients include The Maryland Hospital Association, Inc., The Rukert Terminals Corporation, Association for Retarded Citizens, Inc., Easton Management Co., Inc., Acmos, Inc., and Coastal Sunbelt Produce Co.

Jerry lives in Lutherville, Maryland with his wife and five children. He is involved in many charitable, professional and community activities. Currently, he is a director of the St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, Inc., where he served as President from 1993 to 1998. He is active with Catholic Charities and serves on their Leadership Committee.
