Eugene H. Schreiber, Member

Gene was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 19, 1929, and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1960. He received a B.S. in Business from Johns Hopkins University in 1950, and worked for several years as an accountant and as a corporate comptroller before graduating from University of Maryland School of Law in 1960 with an L.L.B., cum laude. While a student at Maryland, Gene served for two years on the Board of Editors of the Maryland Law Review and became a member of the Order of the Coif. Gene is also a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and was chairman of the Section of Taxation. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Trust Law, Corporate Law and Federal, Estate and Gift Taxation.

Gene has served on the Boards of Goucher College, Maryland Academy of Sciences, Central Scholarship Bureau, Associated Jewish Charities of Baltimore and the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners. He has also served on Professional Advisory Committees of the Community Foundation of Baltimore and the University of Baltimore Graduate Tax Program.
